Raichur’s Textile Transformation: Bids Now Open

The Department of Handloom & Textiles, Karnataka, has invited bids for the development of a textile park in Raichur Taluk, situated at Survey No. 928, spanning approximately 15 acres.

The successful bidder will be responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of the park under a public–private partnership (PPP) model for a 30-year concession period. The project will include the creation of common infrastructure such as a compound wall, wide roads capable of accommodating 40-ft container trucks, drainage and sewage treatment systems, water and power supply, and a common effluent treatment plant. In addition, the park will feature facilities such as a testing laboratory, design centre, exhibition space, warehousing, and a raw material depot.

The last date for bid submission is 16 January 2026.
