Rainbow Grows in Bengaluru: New Hospital, New Hope

Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML), a leading pediatric multi-specialty and perinatal care hospital chain, has expanded its footprint in Bengaluru with the launch of two new facilities—a 60-bed hospital in HRBR Layout and a dedicated IVF centre in Mahadevapura under its BirthRight by Rainbow brand. With these additions, RCML’s network in the city now includes around 600 beds across six hospitals, along with an outpatient clinic and two fertility centres, reinforcing its position as a major provider of pediatric and perinatal care in Bengaluru.

The HRBR hospital is strategically located along the Outer Ring Road (Hennur) corridor, a rapidly growing residential hub in North Bengaluru. Its proximity to Manyata Tech Park enables it to cater to a young, working population with increasing demand for quality maternal and child healthcare. The 60-bed facility offers a full spectrum of services, including obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal and pediatric intensive care, 24/7 emergency care, and consultant-led specialty clinics. It is staffed by experienced obstetricians, gynecologists, neonatologists, fertility experts, and pediatricians to ensure comprehensive and continuous care.

Designed as part of RCML’s hub-and-spoke model, the HRBR unit functions as a spoke connected to its Marathahalli hub, improving referral systems, clinical consistency, and operational efficiency across its Bengaluru network.

The Mahadevapura IVF centre, also linked to the Marathahalli hub, is located in one of the city’s fastest-growing IT corridors. Targeting a young, urban demographic, the centre addresses increasing awareness and demand for fertility services in the Mahadevapura–Outer Ring Road belt. Spread across nearly 10,000 sq. ft., the facility offers advanced diagnostics, assisted reproductive technologies, and complex fertility treatments.

This expansion marks another step in RCML’s growth of its BirthRight by Rainbow platform, which now includes a network of 15 IVF centres, further strengthening its presence in reproductive healthcare.
