Ramky Infrastructure Limited has secured significant awards from PowerGrid Energy Services Limited, a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, totaling Rs 1.31 billion. This initiative aims to enhance the power distribution infrastructure in Ladakh, focusing on improving efficiency and reducing losses. The project is part of the revamped distribution sector scheme targeting improvements in the Leh district.
The first contract, valued at Rs 1.07 billion, involves the supply of plant contract in the Leh and Kargil districts. This substantial contract is expected to address critical supply needs and boost the power distribution capabilities in these regions. Ramky Infrastructure's expertise in handling large-scale infrastructure projects is a key factor in securing this award.
The second contract, worth Rs 0.24 billion, is designated for the installation of plant services. This part of the project will focus on the practical deployment of the supplied infrastructure, ensuring that the new systems are effectively integrated into the existing power grid. The combined efforts of supply and installation are designed to create a seamless enhancement of the power distribution network.
Both contracts are scheduled to be completed within 30 months, reflecting a commitment to timely execution and delivery.
