Ramky Infrastructure Limited has secured a ₹1,401.84 crore EPC contract from Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) to develop core infrastructure for Phase 1 of the Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) under the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). The contract value includes GST and a four-year Operations and Maintenance (O&M) period, extendable by mutual agreement. The project is scheduled for completion within 930 days from the appointed date.
MITL, a Special Purpose Vehicle jointly backed by the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra, is developing Parcel B of DPIA in Raigad district. The scope of work includes complete EPC delivery—covering design, engineering, construction, testing, commissioning, and performance-based operations.
The infrastructure package will include roads and allied structures, stormwater drainage networks, water treatment and distribution systems, sewerage and recycled water infrastructure, power distribution, and utility ducts for ICT services.
Ramky Infrastructure will deploy its in-house engineering, planning, and commissioning capabilities, supported by standardized monitoring and project delivery frameworks, to ensure efficient execution and a seamless transition to performance-based operations.
Commenting on the development, Sunil Nair, CEO of Ramky Infrastructure, said:
“This LOA reinforces our strategy of focusing on selective, large-format projects where engineering depth, commissioning discipline, and lifecycle accountability are critical. DPIA is a strategically important industrial corridor project, and our in-house systems will ensure predictable commissioning and reliable operational outcomes. The infrastructure will enhance industrial readiness at Dighi by enabling dependable utilities and smoother operations for businesses establishing facilities in the area.”
