Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has secured a ₹114.22 crore contract to develop 94 MW of AC Solar PV plants across various locations in Maharashtra.
The contract, awarded by an undisclosed renewable energy company, is part of the Maharashtra government's Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0, an initiative aimed at ensuring reliable daytime electricity for farmers by promoting decentralized solar power generation.

By enhancing energy access for farming activities, the project marks a significant step in strengthening Maharashtra’s renewable energy capacity and supporting rural development.
