Revanth Reddy Extends Hand to UK for Major Hyderabad Projects

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has extended an invitation to British companies to collaborate on the Musi River Rejuvenation Project, a key initiative aimed at positioning Hyderabad as a global city.

In a meeting held on 18 September 2025 with a UK delegation led by British High Commissioner Lindy Cameron, the Chief Minister outlined significant investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical, electric vehicle (EV) sectors, and the development of the Bharat Future City.

High Commissioner Cameron welcomed the partnership and reiterated the UK’s commitment to strengthening ties with Telangana. She pledged co-funding support for Chevening scholarships for deserving students from the state and offered to extend training programs for government teachers and professors, particularly in education and technology.

The discussions centered on building long-term partnerships to promote industrial growth, sustainable urban development, and enhance Hyderabad’s global competitiveness. The meeting reflects Telangana’s proactive approach to attracting foreign investment and advancing its infrastructure and knowledge-driven sectors.
