RMC Green Energy Cleared for 50 MW Solar Park in Rajasthan

RMC Green Energy, a subsidiary of RMC Switchgears, has received approval from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation to develop a 50 MW Renewable Energy (RE) Park in Rajasthan. This project aligns with the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Policy 2023 and marks RMC's strategic entry into the solar power sector as a renewable independent power producer (IPP).

This initiative is part of RMC's broader strategy to secure over 600 MWp in new projects and achieve one GWp in EPC contracts within the next 18 months. The company's move into solar energy underscores its commitment to supporting India’s ambitious goal of reaching 450 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

The establishment of the 50 MW solar park will contribute significantly to reducing carbon emissions and creating job opportunities, further positioning India as a global leader in renewable energy. RMC Green Energy plans to leverage its in-house design and supervisory teams, along with expert installation partners, to ensure the project's success.

With this development, RMC Green Energy is set to play a key role in advancing India’s green energy landscape and driving sustainable growth in the renewable sector.
