Rs 3,588 Crore & Flowing: Isarda-Dausa Water Project Begins Trials

Rajasthan's Rs 3,588-crore Isarda-Dausa drinking water project has entered its testing and commissioning phase with the launch of a 225 MLD water treatment plant. Designed to benefit roughly 35 lakh people, the regional scheme will supply treated water to 1,256 villages and six towns across Dausa and Sawai Madhopur via 3.06 lakh connections.

With raw water successfully flowing from the Isarda Dam intake well, the core transmission chain is now operational. Urban supplies are being prioritized first, followed by rural expansions, while an expanded scope now covers an additional 177 villages in Sawai Madhopur.
