Om Infra Ltd., a leading EPC infrastructure company with core expertise in water management, civil construction, and engineering solutions, has secured a major water supply infrastructure project from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Urban) for Shahjahanpur. Valued at ₹1,290 million (₹129 crore), this project marks a significant step in Om Infra’s growing role in India’s critical infrastructure development.
The turnkey project encompasses end-to-end responsibilities including surveying, soil investigation, design, and the supply of all materials, labor, and equipment. Key construction works include new overhead tanks, pump houses, boundary walls, staff quarters, site development, and repair works. The contract also involves laying and jointing of rising mains and distribution pipelines, establishing house connections, drilling new tube wells, reboring existing ones, and deploying a comprehensive PLS SCADA automation system—all executed in strict compliance with tender specifications. The scope also covers commissioning, testing, trials, and defect liability management before final handover to Nagar Nigam, Shahjahanpur.
Mr. Vikas Kothari, Managing Director and CEO of Om Infra Ltd., stated, “We are honored to have been awarded this critical project, which aligns perfectly with our strategic focus on water management, hydroelectric, and pumped storage sectors. This win not only enhances our project portfolio but also strengthens our position as a provider of sustainable, turnkey infrastructure solutions.”
He added, “Our commitment remains firmly rooted in quality, efficiency, and innovation. This project stands as a testament to our ability to deliver impactful infrastructure that supports regional development and builds long-term stakeholder value.”
With its continued emphasis on water resource management, irrigation, and renewable energy, Om Infra is well-positioned to contribute to national initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission. The company expects this project to significantly boost both its top line and bottom line, reinforcing its leadership in the infrastructure space.
