The Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (APTRANSCO) has invited bids for the construction of a 400/220 kV air-insulated (AIS) substation at Sanampudi.
The project also includes the erection of a 400 kV ACSS TMDC transmission line connecting the existing 400/220 kV substation at Podili to the proposed Sanampudi substation, along with the development of associated bays at Podili. The scope of work covers end-to-end activities, including survey, planning, design, engineering, and preparation of all required documentation.
The selected contractor will be responsible for the supply, transportation, unloading, insurance, storage, and handling of all materials. In addition, the contract encompasses installation, termination, system integration, testing, demonstration for acceptance, and commissioning of the complete infrastructure. The project also предусматриes the installation of phasor measurement units (PMUs) at the substation or power plant to ensure full operational functionality.
The total estimated cost of the project is ₹269.89 crore. Bid submissions will close on 27 January 2026.
