₹423 Cr. Opportunity: Amaravati Pumping Station Tender Out

The Amaravati Development Corporation has issued a tender for the construction and operation of Flood Pumping Station–2 at Undavalli, in the Amaravati Capital City area of Andhra Pradesh. The proposed station will have a pumping capacity of 8,400 cusecs.

The project forms part of the World Bank and ADB–financed Amaravati Capital City Development Program, which focuses on strengthening flood management systems in the region. The selected contractor will undertake the survey, investigation, design, construction, testing, commissioning, and 15 years of operation and maintenance, on a lump-sum contract basis.

This initiative represents a significant step toward enhancing Amaravati’s flood-control infrastructure and supporting the long-term sustainability of the capital city’s development. The contract is valued at approximately ₹423.64 crore.

Bid submission closes on 09 December 2025.
