₹5.73 Cr Approved for Rewari-Jaipur Railway Line Survey!

Indian Railways has approved the final location survey (FLS) for a proposed 191 km railway line connecting Rewari and Jaipur via Neemrana.

The new corridor is aimed at enhancing regional connectivity by providing an alternative rail link between key industrial and urban centres, improving accessibility for surrounding areas. The project aligns with broader efforts to expand the national rail network and support trade, industry, and economic development.

An allocation of ₹5.73 crore has been made for the FLS. Upon completion, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be prepared to assess the project’s technical and financial feasibility, following which it will be submitted to the Railway Board for final approval and sanction.

Once implemented, the proposed line is expected to significantly improve connectivity to industrial hubs, particularly around Neemrana, facilitating smoother movement of goods and passengers. It is also anticipated to support growth in employment, trade, agriculture, and local industries across the region.
