₹88 Crore Opportunity: Surat Rail Commercial Development

Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has issued a tender inviting bids for granting sub-leasehold rights for commercial development, operation, and maintenance of vertical space within the multi-level car parking (MLCP) facility located on the east side of Surat Railway Station.

The project covers an estimated 67,020 sq. mtrs. of total built-up area (BUA), comprising:

9,570 sq. mtrs. of existing BUA constructed by SITCO,

28,645 sq. mtrs. of BUA in the airspace,

and an additional 28,805 sq. mtrs. of permissible BUA.

Development will be carried out on a 2,765 sq. mtr. plot and is envisioned as an integrated commercial hub potentially including retail, office, hospitality, or mixed-use facilities, designed to complement urban transit infrastructure.

The estimated project value is ₹88 crore, and the deadline for bid submission is 06 June 2025.
