RVNL Dominates: Wins ₹165 Cr Gandak Bridge Project!

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the construction of the substructure of Bridge No. 50 over the Gandak River, located between Paniyahwa and Valmikinagar stations.

The bridge, designed with a Double D-type well foundation, will support a double railway line conforming to the RDSO 25T axle load standard. Valued at ₹165.54 crore, this project forms part of the ongoing doubling work between Gorakhpur Cantt and Valmikinagar under the North Eastern Railway (NER).

Featuring 14 spans of 61 meters each, the new bridge will significantly strengthen regional railway infrastructure, ensuring safer and smoother train operations and enhancing overall connectivity in the area.
