Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has supplied approximately 34,000 tonnes of special-grade steel for the Central Vista Redevelopment Project, one of India’s most significant public infrastructure initiatives.
Located in New Delhi, the project aims to modernise the country’s administrative and governance infrastructure through upgraded facilities, contemporary design, and sustainable development. SAIL’s contribution highlights its important role in supporting large-scale national infrastructure projects.
The special-grade steel supplied by the company has been engineered to meet the stringent quality, strength, and performance standards required for complex infrastructure developments. Such materials play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity, durability, and long-term safety of major public buildings and facilities being developed under the Central Vista project.
Beyond Central Vista, SAIL continues to support a wide range of infrastructure segments, including government buildings, transportation systems, industrial projects, public utilities, and urban development initiatives across the country.
The supply of 34,000 tonnes of steel underscores the growing contribution of domestic steel manufacturers to India's infrastructure development goals and demonstrates SAIL’s capability to deliver specialised steel solutions for projects of national importance.
