SECL Mining Alert: Manikpur OCP Tender Now Open

South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has floated a tender for handling, transportation, and allied mining services at the Manikpur open cast project (OCP) in Korba.

The scope of work includes overburden (OB) removal, handling and transportation, deployment of heavy earth moving machinery (HEMM) for OB operations, as well as coal drilling, loading, and transportation. The services will be awarded on a percentage quote basis. The contract is proposed for a duration of seven years and is aimed at ensuring efficient, systematic, and continuous mining operations. Eligible contractors are invited to provide the required manpower, machinery, and logistics support for large-scale OB and coal management to maintain uninterrupted production and transportation.

The last date for submission of bids is January 7, 2026.
