South East Central Railway (SECR) has floated an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) tender worth ₹601.90 crore for a new broad-gauge single railway line in Chhattisgarh. The infrastructure project involves laying a new line from the Paradol Takeoff Point (km 947.257) to Nagpur Road Station (km 964.820), alongside slewing work on a segment of the existing Boridand-Chirmiri route. Designed to boost regional passenger and freight movement, the project carries a 730-day execution timeline and an EMD requirement of ₹12.04 crore. The bid submission deadline is set for November 27, 2026, following two pre-bid conferences in August and September.
