Serentica Taps Envision for Massive 560 MW Wind Project

Serentica Renewables has selected Envision Energy India to supply wind turbine generators (WTGs) for its upcoming 560 MW wind power project. The project will feature advanced 5 MW Envision Smart WTGs, with deliveries scheduled to begin in February 2026.

This partnership supports Serentica’s strategy to provide round-the-clock renewable energy to industrial consumers across states such as Karnataka and Maharashtra. The selected turbines are known for their high efficiency and reliability, aligning with the company’s goal to decarbonize energy-intensive industries.

Serentica CEO Akshay Hiranandani stated that the collaboration reinforces India's clean energy transition by ensuring consistent green power for industry. Envision Energy India MD RPV Prasad emphasized the project's role in accelerating India’s journey toward net-zero emissions.

Backed by a $650 million investment from KKR, Serentica aims to deliver over 50 billion units of clean energy annually, helping offset nearly 47 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
