Shaurya Ispat Announces ₹400 Crore Sponge Iron Project in Chhattisgarh

Shaurya Ispat Udyog Private Limited is set to establish a Sponge Iron Project in Bahesar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, with an investment of 400 crores. The project aims to produce 330,000 tons per annum (TPA) of sponge iron, catering to the growing demand in the steel industry.

In addition to sponge iron production, the project includes a 20 MW waste heat recovery-based power unit. This unit will utilize the waste heat generated during the sponge iron production process, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

The strategic location of the project in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, provides access to abundant raw materials and a skilled workforce. This ensures operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness, contributing to the project's success.
