Shree Real Sponge & Power has embarked on an ambitious sponge iron project located at Natwarpur and Dhumabahal in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The project, which commands an investment of 195 crores, aims to significantly boost the region's industrial output. This initiative is set to produce 262,500 tonnes per annum (TPA) of sponge iron, reinforcing Chhattisgarh's position as a key player in India's steel industry.
The project is not just limited to sponge iron production. Shree Real Sponge & Power plans to extend its capabilities to the production of mild steel billets, with an expected annual output of 274,400 TPA. This dual production capacity is poised to meet the growing demand for steel in various sectors, including construction, automotive, and infrastructure development.
Strategically situated in Raigarh, a hub for industrial activities in Chhattisgarh, the project benefits from the region's robust infrastructure and logistical advantages. The choice of location ensures efficient raw material procurement and distribution channels, thereby optimizing operational efficiencies and reducing costs.
Environmental considerations have been a crucial part of the planning process for this project. Shree Real Sponge & Power is committed to implementing state-of-the-art technologies that minimize emissions and energy consumption. This aligns with the broader goal of sustainable industrial growth in the region, addressing both economic and environmental objectives.
