Sical Logistics Strikes Gold with Rs 534 Crore CCL Mining Deal

Sical Logistics has secured a mining contract valued at approximately Rs 534.73 crore (inclusive of 18% GST) from Central Coalfields Limited (CCL).

The 5-year project involves the deployment of heavy earth moving machinery (HEMM) for overburden removal—comprising around 201.35 lakh cubic meters of re-handling and 336.53 lakh cubic meters of hard overburden—along with the extraction of roughly 91.03 lakh tonnes of coal. Spanning a diverted area of 143 hectares at the SDOC Mine in the Dhori Area of Jharkhand, the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) was officially received by the company on September 1, 2026.

This long-term agreement significantly bolsters Sical Logistics' order book, enhances its operational footprint in bulk mining infrastructure, and provides a strong revenue pipeline supporting active coal production operations in the region.
