SPS Construction Bags ₹311 Cr Bengal Bridge Projects

SPS Construction India has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for two major infrastructure projects awarded by the Public Works Department (PWD), West Bengal.

The projects, with a combined value of ₹311.77 crore, include the construction of the Shilpa Setu bridge over the Damodar River, located 2.95 km parallel to the existing Krishak Setu, and a bridge over the Eden Canal along a 2.415 km stretch of the Burdwan–Arambagh Road (State Highway-7) within the Burdwan Division of Purba Bardhaman district. Both bridges will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis.

These projects are expected to significantly improve regional connectivity, strengthen transportation infrastructure, and support economic development in the area, marking an important step in West Bengal’s infrastructure expansion efforts.
