Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) has been awarded a significant domestic solar EPC contract valued at approximately ₹550 crore. This new project, set in Rajasthan, involves the development of a substantial 400 MW AC/633 MW DC solar power plant for a prominent private renewable energy provider in India. The contract includes comprehensive engineering, design, testing, and commissioning responsibilities, as well as the construction of a 33/220 kV switchyard.
The impressive order win boosts SWREL's domestic order inflows to around ₹900 crore for the second quarter of FY25, complementing the ₹2,170 crore secured in the first quarter. This substantial influx underscores the company’s strong position and aggressive growth strategy in the renewable energy sector.
