Substation contract up for grabs: Mathura-Dholpur-Antri-Bina section

North Central Railway has unveiled a significant opportunity with a tender for the construction of a traction substation along the Mathura-Dholpur-Antri-Bina section. Valued at Rs 509.72 crore, the project aims to enhance railway infrastructure in line with the goal of achieving speeds of up to 160 kmph/200 kmph. The scope of work encompasses the complete lifecycle from design to supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of both 220/2x25 kV and 132/2x25 kV traction substations, including SP/SSPS integration.

Scheduled for completion within 24 months, the ambitious project underscores North Central Railway's commitment to bolstering operational capabilities and passenger experience. The bid submission deadline has been set for 5th August 2024, attracting attention from industry leaders poised to contribute to India's expanding rail network. This initiative is poised to not only enhance connectivity but also stimulate regional economic development, marking a pivotal stride towards modernizing railway infrastructure in the region.
