Sun, Wind & Jobs: TPREL’s ₹5,750 Cr Hybrid Project Takes Off!

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has officially kicked off the development of a landmark 800 MW hybrid renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh with a ₹5,750 crore investment. Spread across 3,462 acres, the project features 400 MW of solar power in Kurnool district and 400 MW of wind power in Ananthapuram district, delivered in partnership with Suzlon for wind EPC execution. Beyond delivering green power, the project will serve as an economic catalyst, creating nearly 4,000 jobs during development, construction, and long-term operations while boosting the state's position as a renewable energy powerhouse.
