SUNDAY Hotel Spots a New Opportunity: Wild India Tourism

SUNDAY Hotel, a premium hospitality brand under PRISM (formerly Oravel Stays), is making its foray into India’s wildlife tourism segment with plans to launch 10 new properties within the next six months.

The first property, SUNDAY Hotel and Resort, opened last week near Jim Corbett National Park in Kiyari Kham. The resort offers over 50 rooms, including premium, attic, and family options, as well as suites featuring forest-view balconies.

Building on this launch, the brand plans to open nine additional resorts across major wildlife destinations such as Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh, and Periyar, creating a strong pan-India presence.

SUNDAY Hotel aims to redefine nature-based hospitality by focusing on eco-friendly operations, local community engagement, and curated experiences such as safaris, bird-watching, and wellness retreats. With India’s wildlife tourism sector growing at 15% annually, the brand seeks to meet the rising demand for sustainable, nature-led travel experiences.
