Sunora Solar's Dual Power Play: Expanding with Inverters

Gujarat-based solar module manufacturer Sunora Solar has expanded its portfolio by entering the solar inverter market, aiming to meet the rising demand for solar energy solutions.

Initially leveraging OEM partnerships, the company plans to commence in-house production within the next few months. “We have introduced solar inverters ranging from 1 kW to 110 kW. While we currently rely on OEM services, we intend to transition to in-house manufacturing soon. With the growing demand for solar inverters alongside increasing solar installations, this move allows us to offer both solar panels and inverters to our customers,” said Piyush Variya, Director of Sunora Solar.

Based in Surat, Sunora Solar is targeting the rooftop solar market, focusing on residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sectors with its low- and mid-range inverters. The company is also expanding into Tier II and Tier III cities to promote solar energy adoption.

“We are also exploring opportunities in the hybrid solar inverter segment, as we see significant growth potential in this market,” Variya added.
