South Western Railway has invited engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) bids for the Ballari–Hosapete Third and Fourth Line Project in Karnataka, valued at an estimated Rs 152.27 crore. The project scope centers on building 34 major bridges to facilitate the addition of new railway lines, designed to boost operational capacity and accommodate rising passenger and freight traffic along the corridor. Bids must be submitted by November 25, 2026.
