Tata’s CaratLane Doubles Output with New Chennai Mega-Facility

CaratLane, the jewellery brand backed by the Tata Group, has announced the launch of a new manufacturing facility in Chennai as part of its ongoing expansion strategy.

The new facility, located at the SIDCO industrial estate, spans 32,000 sq ft across four floors and is expected to significantly enhance the company’s production capabilities. According to the company, the unit will help double its overall manufacturing capacity.

CaratLane said the expansion is also expected to create around 100 specialised employment opportunities as it scales up operations to meet growing demand.
