Telangana Dreams Big: Mega Plan to Turbocharge Industry by 2050

The Telangana government, under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, has unveiled an ambitious Mega Master Plan policy aimed at propelling the state's industrial development to new heights by the year 2050. This strategic initiative aligns with the Chief Minister's vision for widespread development and growth across the entire state.

As a pivotal component of this comprehensive policy, Telangana will be strategically divided into three clusters. The Urban cluster is designated within the Outer Ring Road (ORR), the Semi-urban cluster will be established between the ORR and the Regional Ring Road, and the Rural cluster will encompass areas around the Regional Ring Road.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized the government's unwavering commitment to achieving an all-encompassing industrial development, referred to as 'next-level industrial development.' In a notable move, the government plans to establish a Pharma Village along the 14 radial roads encircling the ORR, connected by 12 National Highways. The infrastructure development will include provisions for schools, hospitals, and other essential facilities, underscoring the government's dedication to fostering a conducive environment for industrial growth.

In addition to focusing on Information Technology (IT), Pharma, and Health clusters, the government envisions the development of clusters in food processing, sports, automobile, and organic sectors. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also revealed plans for a Solar Energy policy, including incentives for the solar energy industry, as part of the state's forward-looking approach to sustainable energy solutions.
