Telangana's ₹333 Crore Canal Makeover

The Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Telangana has floated a tender for cement concrete lining of the High-Level Main Canal under the AMRSLBC (Alimineti Madhava Reddy Srisailam Left Bank Canal) Project.

Valued at ₹333.27 crore, the project aims to improve the structural integrity and water conveyance efficiency of the canal system, thereby enhancing irrigation reliability in the region. The scope of work covers the canal stretch from km 23.500 to km 136.150, located in Nalgonda district.

The concrete lining is expected to significantly reduce seepage losses and extend the lifespan of the canal, aligning with the state’s broader efforts to strengthen irrigation infrastructure.

Bidders are invited to submit their proposals by the deadline of 12 September 2025.
