Tender Alert: SWR's ₹314 Cr Project for Track and Power Upgrade

The South Western Railway (SWR) has invited bids for the construction and doubling of the railway track, along with the installation of signaling and telecommunication systems and electrification of the new line between Toranagallu (inclusive) and Ranjithpura (exclusive).

The project scope also includes the upgradation of overhead electrification (OHE) over a total length of 21.460 km, as well as electrical general service works to enhance operational efficiency and line capacity.

The estimated cost of the contract is ₹314.63 crore, with a completion period of 24 months from the date of award.

Interested bidders must submit their proposals by January 30, 2026.
