Organic Recycling Systems (ORSL) has partnered with Indraprastha Gas (IGL) to jointly develop compressed biogas (CBG) projects across India.
The collaboration was formalised through a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) exchanged during India Energy Week (IEW) 2026 in Goa on January 28, 2026. The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Praveen Mal Khanooja, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Kamal Kishore Chatiwal, Managing Director of IGL. The MoU provides a framework for ORSL and IGL to collaborate on CBG initiatives nationwide, enabling ORSL to design, structure, and execute projects efficiently.
The partnership is expected to significantly expand ORSL’s project pipeline and accelerate CBG development across multiple regions. ORSL is now working with project sponsors to prioritise opportunities based on feedstock availability, infrastructure readiness, and project feasibility, aiming to fast-track implementation.
