Tata Steel Special Economic Zone’s Gopalpur Industrial Park (GIP) in Odisha is rapidly transforming into a premier green industrial hub. Anchored by a proposed 0.4 million tonne per annum green ammonia plant—backed by a partnership between the Odisha government, Japan’s IHI Corporation, ACME Group, and TSSEZL—the park is driving massive clean energy investments.
With a total investment pipeline exceeding Rs 65,400 crore spanning clean energy and advanced manufacturing, the project is set to generate around 3,400 jobs. Further cementing its green credentials, TSSEZL recently partnered with Tata Power Renewable Energy for a new solar manufacturing facility. Offering plug-and-play infrastructure and seamless connectivity, GIP is establishing Odisha as a leader in sustainable manufacturing.
