The LNG Revolution Rolls On: THINK Gas Adds Six Hubs

THINK Gas has announced plans to set up six new liquefied natural gas (LNG) fueling hubs by the end of 2025 to accelerate the shift toward cleaner fuels in long-haul, heavy-duty trucking.

The expansion will focus on key logistics corridors in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Three stations—in Anantapur and Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), and Vallam in Kanchipuram district (Tamil Nadu)—are scheduled for commissioning by September 2025, with three more planned for completion by December 2025.

These new LNG hubs will be integrated with THINK Gas’s existing liquefied compressed natural gas (LCNG) infrastructure, enabling the dispensing of LNG to support low-emission freight transport.

THINK Gas currently operates 18 LCNG stations, all undergoing upgrades to incorporate LNG dispensing capabilities. The company also maintains a fleet of 61 LNG carriers to ensure a reliable nationwide fuel supply, targeting major freight corridors such as Delhi–Mumbai and the Eastern and Southern industrial belts.

Innovations such as real-time fuel tracking via net metering and advanced boil-off gas management systems further enhance THINK Gas’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
