Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL) has invited bids for the conversion of 11 kV high-tension overhead lines (55 sq mm/100 sq mm) into MVCC overhead conductors within the Godhra Circle.
The project, being executed under the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana (VKY-2), is estimated at ₹125.70 crore. It aims to improve the reliability and efficiency of the power distribution network by reducing transmission losses and enhancing the overall quality of electricity supply in the region. The initiative is part of MGVCL’s broader efforts to modernise power infrastructure, particularly in Gujarat’s tribal areas.
The project is expected to support rising energy demand while ensuring more sustainable and efficient power distribution. The last date for bid submission is April 18, 2026.
