Aerospace major Safran Aircraft Engines is planning to deepen its presence in India through fresh investments, expanded industrial capabilities and stronger local partnerships, a senior executive said.
In an interview with businessline, Safran Aircraft Engines President Stéphane Cueille said the company’s India strategy is closely aligned with the government’s Make in India initiative.
Cueille noted that India has become a key market for the group, supported by rapid airline fleet expansion and increasing industrial opportunities across maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, supply chain activities and potential manufacturing operations.
