Tribeca Developers, the world’s largest developer of Trump-branded properties, has launched Trilive, India’s first dedicated platform for rental housing development, marking the beginning of its operations in Andheri, Mumbai.
Trilive has partnered with luxury co-living operator Housr to cater to the increasing demand for high-quality rental housing among India’s millennial workforce. The platform’s debut project involves the acquisition of 650 studio apartments in Marol, Andheri, from the Starwing Group, a Mumbai-based real estate developer. Trilive plans to offer the first 300 studios at a competitive price of Rs 70 lakh each, targeting a six percent rental yield, and a nine-year lease agreement backed by Housr, ensuring consistent returns for investors.
Kalpesh Mehta, Founder of Trilive and Tribeca Developers, emphasized the platform's mission, stating, “Trilive aims to address the significant gap in the market for high-quality managed rental housing for working professionals in India. I’m thrilled to launch our first project in collaboration with the Starwing Group, which has deep connections in the Andheri market, and Housr, the company I co-founded five years ago.”
Deepak Anand, Co-Founder and CEO of Housr, also spoke on the significance of the partnership, saying, “Through this collaboration with Trilive, we are planning to scale rapidly, aiming to secure a steady supply of 7,000–8,000 beds across India in the next 2–3 years.”
As demand for rental housing continues to grow in urban centers, Trilive aims to be a key player by offering affordable investment opportunities, stable returns, and modern urban living solutions.
