THINK Gas, a key player in India’s city gas distribution sector, has signed a long-term gas supply agreement with Shell Energy India valued at USD 350 million.
Under the agreement, Shell will supply natural gas from its global portfolio through the Hazira LNG terminal, strengthening THINK Gas’s ability to meet rising demand for cleaner energy across households, transport, and industry. “The execution of this long-term agreement builds upon our strategy to diversify our gas portfolio in a complex global environment while providing reliable, flexible, affordable, and sustainable solutions to our downstream customers,” said Abhilesh Gupta, MD and CEO of THINK Gas.
THINK Gas—formed following the merger of AG&P Pratham and THINK Gas—is also exploring further collaborations to support India’s expanding clean energy requirements. The natural gas sector in India continues to attract substantial global investment as the country accelerates its transition toward low-emission energy systems.
