TPREL Powers Up Karnataka with 300 MW SECI Solar Project

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), through its wholly-owned subsidiary TP Saurya Limited, has commissioned a 300 MW solar power project in Koppal, Karnataka, for the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). Equipped with high-efficiency TP580HG10NB bifacial solar modules, the utility-scale plant is expected to generate approximately 810 million units (MUs) of clean electricity annually while offsetting nearly 1,03,820 tonnes of $CO_2$ emissions each year. This milestone further expands TPREL’s utility-scale renewable portfolio and supports India's broader decarbonization and clean energy targets.
