Tripling Capacity, Powering the Future: Indo Tech’s ₹360 Cr Move

Power infrastructure and equipment major Indo Tech Transformers Ltd. has announced a major manufacturing push, approving a new ₹360 crore CAPEX plan for high-voltage power transformers. This concludes a phased ₹495 crore expansion strategy aimed at more than tripling total capacity to 50,000 MVA by FY2028-29.

"With our current facilities operating at near-peak capacity utilization of 80-90%, this strategic expansion ensures we can capitalize on the massive ongoing investments in power transmission infrastructure and renewable energy integration."

The upcoming facility upgrade will allow Indo Tech to enter the high-value utility segment by producing massive units up to the 400 kV class, catering directly to central and state transmission utilities.
