TVS SCS × ALA Group: A ₹2,000 Cr Boost for Indian Aerospace

TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has partnered with Italy-based ALA Group to establish a joint venture focused on building an aerospace and defence supply chain platform in India. The venture aims to generate revenue of approximately ₹2,000 crore within the next three to five years.

Under the agreement, TVS SCS will hold a 51% stake in the new entity, while ALA Group will own the remaining 49%. The partners plan to make an initial investment of €2 million, according to R. Dinesh, Executive Chairman of TVS SCS.

The venture will be executed through TVS Packaging Solutions Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of TVS SCS that currently has limited operations and will be revived to undertake projects under the new partnership.

In a stock exchange filing, TVS SCS stated that it proposes to invest around ₹10 crore in TVS Packaging Solutions to support business expansion and enable definitive agreements with A.L.A Corporation. The investment is intended to help the company capitalize on opportunities emerging from India's rapidly growing aerospace and defence sectors.
