UltraTech Cement to Acquire Wonder WallCare for Rs 235 Crore

UltraTech Cement, a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla Group, has announced the approval of its acquisition of Wonder WallCare, a subsidiary of Wonder Cement, for an enterprise value of Rs 235 crore. The transaction is expected to conclude within 90 days, pending regulatory approvals and compliance.

Through this acquisition, UltraTech will acquire a state-of-the-art wall putty manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of six lakh tonnes, located in Rajsamand, Nathdwara, Rajasthan. The facility, constructed in 2022–23, is strategically positioned near high-quality raw material sources and is in close proximity to UltraTech’s existing putty production plants in the region.

This move is expected to enhance UltraTech's position in the competitive Indian wall putty market, with opportunities for future capacity expansions to meet growing demand.
