Ultraviolette Accelerates: Gearing Up for a Global EV Takeover

Ultraviolette Automotive, a leading innovator in electric vehicles and battery technology, is gearing up for a major scale-up of its manufacturing capabilities to support its global expansion plans.

Currently operating a pilot facility in Bengaluru with an annual capacity of 30,000 units, the company plans to begin a significant production expansion later this year. “Towards the latter part of this year, we will begin our production expansion,” said Narayan Subramaniam, Founder and CEO.

Ultraviolette aims to increase output tenfold to 300,000 units annually by 2028—an essential step toward meeting expected international demand and supporting a growing product lineup.

To realize this growth, the company is in active talks with multiple state governments in India to establish a larger manufacturing plant. The expanded facility will support a broader portfolio of electric vehicles and advanced technologies, reinforcing Ultraviolette’s ambition to be a key global player in the EV space.
