Unlocking Paradise: An 89 Crore Makeover for Paradise Hut Resort

The Kavaratti Smart City (KSCL) has issued a tender for the revitalization of Paradise Hut Resort located in Kavaratti, Lakshadweep.

The scope of civil works encompasses the use of cement OPC/PPC, as well as the fabrication of aluminum doors, windows, ventilators, and fixed glazing using standard extruded sections of aluminum alloy. Additionally, the project includes plumbing works for sanitary ware, CP fittings, washroom accessories, water supply pipes and fittings, electrical works, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) works. The total contract value is Rs 89 crore.

The selected contractor is responsible for securing land for labor accommodation, establishing an office, material storage, setting up temporary workshops, and constructing approach roads to the project site. This involves obtaining the necessary land for all activities related to the completion of the project. Furthermore, the contractor must adhere to all preventive and protective environmental measures outlined in the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) guidelines.
