In a major boost to Uttar Pradesh’s IT and electronics sector, the State Cabinet has greenlit proposals to issue Letters of Comfort (LoCs) to four multinational corporations committing ₹1,710 crore in investments in Gautam Buddh Nagar under the UP GCC Policy 2024.
The investments include ₹879 crore by Havells India and ₹634 crore by LG Soft India under the Noida Authority. Additionally, Ameriprise India (₹112.84 crore) and MetLife Global Operations Support Centre (Embassy Oxygen Business Park) will receive incentives under the newly framed policy.
Announcing the decision, Principal Secretary for IT & Electronics Alok Kumar emphasized that these projects will propel Uttar Pradesh into a leading GCC hub while creating sustainable, high-skilled jobs for the state's workforce.
