Uttaranchal Ispat Private Limited intends to build an expansion of an integrated steel plant in Jagannathpur, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.
The project will cost 6.91 crores.It has been suggested to raise the capacity of M.S. Billets from 29000 M.T.A to 1,75,000 M.T.A in the current plant by constructing three 08 Tons per Heat capacity Induction Furnaces and expanding the capacity of Rolling Mills products from 54000 M.T.A to 1,90,000 M.T.A.1,75,000 MT/year of M.S. Billets and 1,90,000 MT/year of Rolling Mills goods TMT Bar, M.S. Angle, M.S. Patti, and M.S. Pipes, among others. 08 ton induction furnace (3 units).9,900 KVA Connected Power Load5100 KVA is required for expansion.After enlargement, the total power load is 15000 KVA.
As of September 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
