Valli Chemicals is spending Rs. 4 crore to build a bulk drugs manufacturing unit at Kadechur Industrial Area, Yadgir, Karnataka. This proposal emphasizes sustainability by giving 33% of the land area, or 1335 square meters, to a greenbelt. The facility plans to manufacture 70 TPM of bulk pharmaceuticals to boost domestic manufacturing, minimize imports.
Though the sorts of bulk pharmaceuticals to be made are unknown, the project will follow GMP and strict environmental laws. Water and waste management systems are part of the effort to reduce environmental effect.
Beyond aesthetics, the greenbelt helps purify air, reduce noise, conserve soil, and support local flora and animals. However, the initiative is still in its early phases and has no deadline. Obtaining permissions and permits, complying with environmental standards, and managing finance and operating expenses are expected hurdles.
As on December 2023, Project is at approvals received stage. Project got all the clearances.
