Vanya Steels Private Limited is set to expand its integrated steel plant at Hirebaganal in Koppal, Karnataka. The project, which aims to enhance iron ore mineral beneficiation capacity to 600,000 TPA (tons per annum), signifies a significant investment in the region’s industrial infrastructure.
The expansion will also boost the plant’s sponge iron production to 300,000 TPA. This strategic enhancement is expected to not only increase production efficiency but also strengthen the company’s market position in the steel manufacturing sector.
With an investment of INR 1,028 crores, the project underscores Vanya Steels' commitment to advancing its operations and contributing to the local economy. The substantial capital infusion will likely generate numerous job opportunities, fostering economic growth in the Koppal district.
This development comes as part of a broader initiative to meet rising demand for steel and related products. By augmenting its production capabilities, Vanya Steels aims to cater to both domestic and international markets more effectively.
