VST Tillers Bets Big on EV & Automation with New ₹100 Cr Hub

Farm equipment leader VST Tillers Tractors Ltd (VTTL) has officially laid the foundation for its state-of-the-art ₹100-crore Global Tech Centre in Hosur following a successful bhoomi pooja and ground-breaking ceremony.

The new facility will act as VTTL’s central innovation hub, supercharging its R&D capabilities across tractors, tillers, and modern farm machinery. Designed to drive the future of agriculture, the center will focus on developing intelligent, sustainable solutions using both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) technology.

Beyond core engineering, the center will boost testing and validation, safeguard proprietary technologies, and open doors for global academic and industry partnerships.

"This facility will become the cornerstone of our future R&D initiatives," said V T Ravindra, Managing Director of VST Tillers Tractors Ltd. "As agriculture rapidly embraces electrification, automation, and digital technologies, this center will enable us to develop world-class products that empower farmers with smarter, more sustainable solutions."

The Hosur tech center is set to play a pivotal role in shaping VTTL’s long-term technology strategy for both domestic and international markets.
